1. Information we collect
We collect personal details you provide during registration and KYC — name, date of birth, mobile number, email, address, Aadhaar/PAN identifiers, nominee details, and uploaded documents (photo, ID proofs). We also log technical data (IP, device, browser) when you use the member dashboard.
2. How we use your information
Data is used solely to verify eligibility, administer your membership, process dues and claims, communicate transactional updates, comply with statutory obligations, and improve member services. We never sell member data.
3. Storage and security
Records are stored on encrypted, access-controlled infrastructure. KYC documents are kept in private storage with row-level access policies. We follow ISO 27001 aligned controls and conduct annual security reviews.
4. Sharing
We share data only with (a) regulatory authorities when legally required, (b) audit and verification partners under strict confidentiality, and (c) the verified nominee at the time of a claim. No marketing partners.
5. Your rights
You may access, correct, or request deletion of your data by writing to contact@atalkavach.com. Deletion may affect active membership and pending claims; we will explain the impact before acting.
6. Retention
Active member records are retained for the duration of membership and seven years thereafter for audit and statutory reporting. Claim files are retained for ten years post-settlement.
